Apparently, Isaac Mizrahi’s latest inspiration is the Roman emperor Augustus! I think this is reflected in the gowns he did for this collection, but the rest of the pieces seem to buzz from a wonderland high, or as Laird Borrelli-Persson put it: “Acid peach, Nile blue, Creamsicle, and citrus—Mizrahi’s were the sort of irresistible hues found in a box of Ladurée macaroons.”
Remember Ladurée!!
